Client Stories

"Nhu is masterful at facilitating a group of varied and passionate individuals to a unified solution.

She encourages collective input through consensus building processes and continuously supports everyone through those processes.

And the results are amazing.  Strong recmmendations coming from many diverse voices."

Angela G. Long, Director Public Health Practices, University of Oregon

“Nhu is an incredibly skilled and adept facilitator. She has taken on some challenging roles facilitating community steering and advisory committees for high-profile, high-level, incredibly complex work on behalf of the State.

We benefit from her strategic direction, partnership, ability to build trust and relationships in a wide variety of communities, skills, thoughtfulness, dedication, and planning.

I would highly recommend working with Nhu. Your initiative, organization, or project will benefit significantly from having her be a part of your work.”

Liz Gharst - Deputy Communications Manager at Oregon Youth Authority

"Nhu and I had many discussions on how the program can be more viable in urban areas, some worked, some didn’t. But the main thing is that she was open to hearing ideas from all involved in the PartnerSHIP.

We connected on many cultural issues that plague Oregon and she encouraged me to take on tasks that at some times could be “controversial”, stood by my “truths”, and supported me in and out of PartnerSHIP meetings."

Connie Dillinger PartnerSHIP Committee, Cave Junction, Oregon

A Note from the Founder

Connect with Nhu on LinkedIn

I started NTH Consulting because I saw a clear need: government agencies and large organizations were struggling to connect with the very communities they serve. That gap felt personal—and urgent. As a facilitator and consultant, I step in to help build the bridge.

After years working in government and academia, I realized that my deepest fulfillment comes from creating space for people—especially those historically left out of decision-making—to be heard. That’s what facilitation is for me: making room at the table and guiding conversations with honesty and clarity.

I’m especially focused on public health because I know, both professionally and personally, how deeply it impacts lives. As a refugee, I’ve witnessed the ways economic stability, cultural understanding, and access to care intersect. I didn’t always have the language for it—but now I call it intersectionality, and it’s at the heart of my work.

Whether I’m guiding a strategic planning session, co-creating community engagement strategies, or leading a workshop, I bring a calming presence and a collaborative spirit. I enjoy putting people at ease and helping them move forward with confidence—even in the face of complexity.
